My background has always been in engineering and furniture making but I have always loved creating art works too.

Being ever keen to draw and paint and with my abilities that I have gained working with metal and wood, I can use these skills to make new and interesting sculptural works of art which I have a passion for.

Inspiration for my art is mainly taken from the natural world in its shapes, textures and tones. Although wood and metal are my preferred medium, I sometimes incorporate other materials to give another dimension to a piece always trying to create a harmonious balance between a man-made world with the organic, natural one and by completion each work takes on a character of its own.
